International Symposium on Genetic Resources for Humanity takes place in Valdivia

Chilean scientists working on tomatoes more resistant to climate change

Although the water crisis represents a great threat to the cultivation of this vegetable, the Center for Advanced Studies in Arid Zones (CEAZA) has found ways to strengthen the species with genetic improvements and the study of their microorganisms. Here, the work they are doing and that they will present at the XIV International Symposium on Genetic Resources for the Americas and the Caribbean (SIRGeAC), which will take place between December 13 and 15 in Valdivia.
